ESC-Projects

In 2022, we supported and supervised a total of seven projects funded by the European Solidarity Corps. Most of these were continued in 2023.

The “Build, Share and Repair” project is a self-help workshop in Erfurt, which is about repairing, reusing used items and creating new ones, as well as social interaction. The initiative gives people the opportunity to get involved in protecting resources and has developed into a meeting place where people with the idea of sustainability and a lot of creativity come together.

Founding day of BSR 2023

“Create to Educate 22” is a series of workshops on the topic of game development. The main aim is to develop games that offer social added value, i.e. that address social problems and create awareness of solidarity and diversity. The aim is also to impart knowledge on how games can be designed to be sustainable, both in terms of the materials and the learning effects.

“Let’s play together” is a series of regular gaming events in which games from Europe and other cultures are presented and an opportunity for exchange and getting to know each other is created. Values such as fair play and respectful interaction are conveyed.

Let’s Play night

The “Culturecademy” is a series of events that aims to create a connection between culture and quality of life in Erfurt. The main topics addressed are sustainability, nutrition, mindfulness, creativity and commitment.

Yoga session

The “Fair Play und Sportwerte” project aims to motivate people to do sports regularly through regular events. They are taught the values and morals of sports and their social skills are promoted. The special focus is on the team sport Kinball.

Part of the team 2022

The “Küche für alle”(Küfa) is a solidarity cooking project in Erfurt Ilversgehofen, which aims to create barrier-free access to the community through regular cooking evenings. The activities also invite people to combine thematic content or musical contributions with the kitchen.

“Jam Session Erfurt” is an open music project that gives people interested in music the opportunity to get to know different instruments and musical styles and to make music together.
